Stunning large-scale Food Map of the United States designed by talented US illustrator & poster artist, Louis Delton Fancher [1884-1944], for the Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company (A&P). The map was commissioned in 1932 as part of a marketing and advertising campaign organised in conjunction with their stand - the "A&P Carnival" - at the 1933 Chicago World's Fair. The map provides a detailed illustrated breakdown of the foodstuffs and produce of each of the individual States of the US.
