Product Details

Our premium yoga mats are 24" wide x 72" tall x 0.25" thick and made from natural rubber with a blended microfiber top surface.   The top of the mat has the image printed on it, and the back is solid black with textured dimples for better floor grip.

Artist's Description

Superb pictorial map designed by artist K W Thompson for Pan American Airways (PAA) in the mid -1930s and depicting the routes of the airline's luxury "Flying Clipper Ships" to the Caribbean and Central & South America. The map is richly illustrated with pictorial vignettes & local scenes and extensively annotated with details about the history, culture and tourist attractions of the different countries & regions depicted. In the lower left, a smartly dressed American couple, no doubt representing PAA's archetypal customers in this golden era of 1930s luxury air travel, stride out purposefully to explore the precincts of one of the excitingly exotic destinations highlighted on the map.
