Artist's Description
Striking pictorial map of the historic city of Liverpool, since the 17th Century one of Britain's most important ports and commercial centres. The border decorations reflect the City's important trading links around the World & across the British Empire. Published in the early 1930s, it was designed by Liverpool librarian, George H Parry, in collaboration with local artist, Albert Preston.
